Mariah Carey to perform OBSESSES on America's Got Talent plus Free Download on Mariah's Album

BC will have the official premiere of Mariah Carey's new video "Obsessed" on tonight's (Wednesday, July 15) "America's Got Talent." You know, the Brett Ratner-directed video we've been hearing about for weeks now. The one where she may or may not be dissing Eminem who recently skewered Mimi in his video "Bagpipes From Baghdad."

We'll leave it to Carey and Eminem to parlay their tiff into more money for giant closet remodels and ... well, whatever Eminem spends his cash on ... but as Todd Martens of the Los Angeles Times says, whether Carey is upset with Eminem, her imitators or the tabloids: "It doesn't really matter. Either way, it will help Mariah stay in the headlines for weeks to come -- long enough to fuel hype for her album 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel,' which will be conveniently released on (Aug. 25) in time to make the cut for the new Grammy eligibility rules."

For those who don't want to wait until tonight to see Carey's video premiere on husband Nick Cannon's show, check out the "Obsessed" video on youtube.

Mariah Carey's New Album "OBSESSED"

Mariah has just confirmed via her Twitter that the first single from her "Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel" album will be "Obsessed". The swagga soaked track was written by The-Dream, who was also responsible for her number one smash hit "Touch My Body". Earlier this week a Def Jam A&R rep revealed a few lines from the song, including "I'm a press conference, you're a conversation". The single will premiere on radio next Tuesday and rumour has it that it's a subtle diss to Eminem.

"Seriously, this is one of my favorite songs ever." Tweeted the singer "I love the whole album. I'm completely immersed in it. I can't wait for you to hear it."
