YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) -- Authorities say heavy thunderstorms and hail have downed trees and utility poles and caused flooding in Westchester County.

Police say at least two homes in Yonkers were damaged by falling debris late Tuesday. Tornado sightings were reported, but authorities could not confirm that.

No injuries have been reported.
