Want a thousands of dollars for free? Paul Erdos prizes still exist for Erdos “problems” still unsolved. Paul Erdos is the famous eccentric Hungarian mathematician who during his lifetime established countless problems with prizes to solve. Today they are reportedly still active even after his death.

Online reports claim there could be thousands of mathematical problems created by Paul Erdos still active, unsolved and with prizes, some substantial.

How much money are we talking about here?

Reportedly thousands of dollars for some of the math problems. Where are these problems? Reports say Ron Graham “is the (informal) administrator of solutions” and that checks are still be issued.



At least one problem is currently valued at $5000, and still not solved.
