Miss Puerto Rico Petite, 19-year-old Keishla Villafane Rivera has been fired of her crown Friday. Reports say, Keishla Villafane was not only accused of “intolerable conduct”, but also used “coarse language”. She assaulted and threatened (death threats) the pageant staff constantly, since her selection as queen last August.
The organizers of the pageant company said, Keishla Villafane Rivera also violated her contract terms as she agreed to use her image in an advertisement regardless of the pageant rules.
Libni Garcia, a pageant spokeswoman issued a statement in an interview with ‘The Associated Press’ detailing what accusations could be made against Keishla Villafane, saying “The company is looking to file a legal action against Villafane and more details would be released then”.
Reportedly, Tamara Perez is a last year’s contestant who has been selected to serve Villafane’s remaining term that will expire on Aug. 26 after starting the next competition. 16 to 24-year-old beauties are required for the next competition having a height of 5 ft 5 in or shorter.
