Jon and Kate Announcement (Video)

People are abuzz today about a new Jon and Kate announcement on June 22, 2009 — wondering if Jon and Kate Plus 8’s special announcement promo video touting the Monday big show means divorce or separation.
I just feel sad for Jon and Kate, and especially the kids. If we believe the press — and if we’ve watched Jon and Kate’s marathon of episodes like I did to catch up — we know that Kate seems so mean yelling at Jon sometimes. She said she knew she was hard on Jon and didn’t apologize. Of course, it seems like Jon needed to step up and be more masculine, instead of relinquishing that role to Kate.
Either way, yeah, I go off and yell at my kids something crazy at times when I’ve lost it. I shouldn’t do that. And Kate shouldn’t have quipped and nagged and harped at Jon as much as she did. What’s that line in Proverbs about living with a nagging wife is worse than living on the roof in the rain? Like a constant dripping Chinese water torture…
Maybe that’s why Jon’s alleged affair is so believable. And the sad part is that they are both Christians going thru this before the world. I only hope they can make it, if they are meant to be together.
