Jesse Levine and Melanie Oudin Defeats BIGGER Opponents

Size matters. But sometimes, that size is small.
Wimbledon's slick grass has long been a boon to power players, where height and wingspan create added leverage in two key areas: serving and net coverage.
With few modern players attacking the net consistently, even at Wimbledon, and grass allegedly slower than ever, a below-average stature is possibly less of a drawback than it once was.
During the first week of Wimbledon, numerous undersized players have supported this theory by outplaying expectations.
Two of them hail from the USA: Jesse Levine and Melanie Oudin.
Both are in the third round of a Grand Slam event for the first time, and they represent the only Americans left in the draw not named Williams or Roddick.
